Dave has had the privilege of being the leader of many fine teams. From being directly responsible for a 35 member Sales and Marketing division to leading cross-functional efforts such as the Team-NUMMI-Toyato (T-N-T) team which was recognized as a finalist for the Charles C. Gates Award for Excellence.
Dave led a cross-functional team known as T-N-T (Team-NUMMI-Toyota) from 1989-1994. TNT was made up of members from throughout Gates that represented the key touch points of the customer. Members from manufacturing, logistics, finance, engineering, sales, marketing, and accounting worked closely to continuously improve product quality, price, and profitability. The team increased sales while significantly improving profitability and n 1992 the team was recognized as a finalist for the Charles C. Gates award.
Dave's first management experience began in 1992 when he was asked to design, hire, and manage a 5-member sales and marketing department.
In 1994 Dave was again asked to begin a new department when he designed, staffed, and managed a 3-member International Marketing department
In 1996 Dave was privileged to lead a small International Business Development team.
In 1997 Dave was asked to design, staff, and manage a Sales and Marketing Division which eventually consisted of 35 team members located throughout the United States.
In 2001 Dave managed a small Marketing Department with members in Denver, Colorado and Media, Pennsylvania.
Today Dave manages a Direct Marketing organization with members located in Denver, Colorado and Santa Clara, California. |
